Help Us Make a Difference This Summer at Hope House!
At Hope House, we provide a sanctuary for mothers and their children recovering from the pain and trauma of abusive situations. However, recent federal and state budget changes have left us fully reliant on private funding and donations to keep our doors open. This means that we urgently need your help now, as we approach the final week of school for the incredible children of Hope House who are virtually homeschooled.
The Challenge We Face
The end of the school year signifies a new challenge—how to keep our children engaged, entertained, and supported throughout the summer months. Without the resources to implement programs and activities, these precious souls may miss out on the joy and learning they desperately need. We want to ensure that not only do they have what they need for their education as they transition into the new school year, but also that they can have a summer filled with fun and unforgettable experiences.
Your Role in Our Solution
Your generous support can change lives at Hope House! We are seeking cash donations, clothing, food and snack deliveries (store-bought only), and gently used toys and electronics. Every little bit helps us create a safe and loving environment for these families as we work together to recover and rebuild their lives.
Where Your Donations Go
The funds raised will cover critical expenses: extra food, supplies, and exciting activities during a time when our children are out of school. These additional resources are vital to ensuring that our children not only feel supported but also get to enjoy their summer, go on outings to museums, aquariums, zoos, and even theme parks—experiences that are far too often out of reach due to the circumstances from which they fled. Furthermore, we strive to provide childcare and summer tutoring for students needing it the most.

Many of our residents face travel restrictions and may not have visitors outside of our dedicated staff, which emphasizes the importance of creating engaging and safe activities within Hope House.
